Welcome to Stoneborough House Bed & Breakfast in Budleigh Salterton, East Devon

​Stoneborough House B and B is a fine Edwardian home situated within walking distance of Budleigh Salterton town, the Otter Estuary, the sea front and pebble beach which forms part of the Jurassic Coast.

The Edwardian house retains many of its original period features, is beautifully presented and is furnished with a fine selection of antiques and pieces collected during a lifetime of travel to various parts of the world.

There are three elegantly furnished and very comfortable en suite bedrooms, one with a super king sized bed, one with a king and one with two singles. The guest drawing room is furnished with comfy sofas and armchairs and is the perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea or to relax with a good book in front of the fire. In addition we have recently added a beautiful Amdega conservatory for your enjoyment.

​Our breakfasts

​Perhaps the best part of a stay at Stoneborough House is the breakfast. The menu is extensive and includes a spectacular platter of seasonal fruit, freshly made porridge, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, as well as, of course, the option of a 'full English'. For those that still have room, we have a selection of, at last count, fifteen different homemade jams and marmalades to accompany your toast and croissants!

Without doubt a 5* visit!
From the moment we arrived we were treated as special guests. After a welcoming cup of tea and delicious fruit cake we were shown to our room in this beautiful house. The facilities were some of the best we have ever experienced. Breakfast was excellent and included home

Excellent!
This B & B would put many hotels to shame.
The attention to detail and guests comfort is superb. Highly recommended. Pleasant location within easy walking distance of the beach and town centre avoiding the need to drive to these places.

Superb guest house
We stayed for 2 nights mid September. We found every aspect of the guest house absolutely perfect: the welcome, the tea and fruit cake, the room, the guest lounge and conservatory and the sumptuous breakfasts. A really outstanding establishment in every way.
